SEASONAL DISEASE

PREVENTION

Fish can develop disease at any time. However, a pathogen / parasite outbreak is most likely to occur in Spring and then again to a lesser extent in Autumn. These times of year also co-incide with the fish's immune system being at a low ebb, further increasing the risk of infection. Therefore the prudent water gardener will treat first with MEDIZIN P (protozoacide, fungicide) and then 10 days later with STERAZIN P (parasiticide) to help prevent a parasite outbreak.

Indication of disease organism and parasite count by month.

* Suggested commencement dates of the Medizin P and Sterazin P treatments.
NB: Exact commencement dates vary every year according to how early Spring and Autumn arrive
